She obtained her veterinary degree in 2016. A year after starting her career in general practice, she decided to pursue training in emergency medicine and practiced as an emergency physician at Coral Spring Animal Hospital and eventually decided to return to general practice/urgent care in 2019. That is when Dr. O’Neill joined the Scarbrough Animal Hospital family where she formerly worked as a veterinary technician alongside Dr. Fred and Drew prior to going to vet school.

Her interests in the field revolve around preventative care, dental care, emergency medicine, internal medicine, surgery, cardiology, and end of life care.

She is fear free certified and takes pride in practicing with always minding how to minimize the stress her patients experience during their visits.

She resides in Plantation with her husband Johnny, daughter Ocean, and three dogs Prince (7 yo Cavapoo), Buttons (3 yo Pomeranian), and Willow (3 yo Bernedoodle).

When she is not at work, Dr. O’Neill likes to spend her time with her family, and friends. She enjoys being a mom and watching her daughter grow, discovering places she has never been to before, painting, practicing self care, and cuddling with her pack of adorable fur babies.
